Twist like dragon, is for movement, the perfection of movement,
Pounce like Tiger, is for power for combat and health,
Crane is to soar like the crane and calm the spirit.
Our Kung Fu is taught as these three animals.
What is Ming Kung fu?
Ming Kung Fu is Internal Kung fu taught to people who seriously want to learn. We have very experienced, qualified and professional teachers. Our Two main teachers teach Full Time. Full time teachers, study hard and dedicate their lives to their students. We teach an excellent Syllabus taking absolute beginners from slow and fast Kung Fu and meditation into weapons and advanced kung fu. Our Headmaster, Located in Durban, goes to China every year and lives there for a month. Our Teachers, sign vows of abstinence from alcohol, drugs, cigarettes etc.
Since Education is the most important to us, we are not expensive at all. Our fees start at R 400 per student per month, and we teach in a few different areas, to almost any age. Because this has been our attitude, we have become very successful !
when is the best time to start?
Our classes are structured in such a way that you as a beginner, can start at any time, you do not need to wait for a specific class to begin.
The longer you wait the less you will know, so the best time to start is RIGHT NOW !!!
how long are classes?
General Class:
consist of 90 Minutes of Traditional Kung Fu,
No pressups, No bunny hops etc, only traditional kungfu.
Tiger Class: is 30 - 60 minutes and contains ground sparring and wushu rolls and flips etc
what do we wear?
We have a standard uniform, that you can organise from your teacher in the school.
As a beginner you must wear:
Black track pants (not tights or shorts)
Black T-shirt (not vest or sleevless)
No Jewellery (safety for partnerwork)
Any color takkies & White socks
what type of students do we have?
Most of our students start with Absolutley no previous experience. We have students from 4 years of age up to 60 years of age. We do often have students highly qualified in other martial arts. We can divide our students into two groups of people:
1. Students who want to study Traditional Chinese martial arts seriously
2. Some strudents want to learn Health & Fitness only, and that is also fine.
All our students want Control of Body and Mind, Discipline, Meditation, and all learn to do things with their bodies they have never done before and overcome mental obstacles they never could previously. We are a family and help each other, we do not aim at hurting each other and competing against each other.
Can I do classes if I'm unfit and have medical problems?
As with any exercise you should always get a doctor's permission.
No, you do not need to be fit. Doing kungfu will make you fit, and very strong.
Our kungfu is very good fixing Bad Knees, Lower Back pains, Bad Legs, and Allegies. People with those ailments always see great results.
IS IT RELIGIOUS?
We do NOT ALLOW, religion, personal lives or politics into the school,
thus you can believe what you want where you want, as long as you do not bring it into the school.
We do not allow discrimination of anyone including Race, Creed, Gender etc.
We teach follow the Law, obey your parents and teacher, and teach your sons and daughters.

• Slow & Fast Tai Ji Kung Fu Routine Practice
• Fast & Slow Wu Dang Kung Fu Routine Practice
• Weapon Routine Practice
• Drills of Power like Silk Reeling and Qi Gong
• Meditation
PARTNER PRACTICE:
• Locks and Holds
• Light & Medium Sparring (Full contact sparring, optional for advanced students)
• Push Hands
A TIGER Class Consists of approximately the following:
SOLO PRACTICE:
• Long Holding Kungfu Postures
• Rolling
• Wushu Work: Hand Stands, Cartwheels
• Fitness Exercises
PARTNER PRACTICE:
• Locks And Holds
• Sparring Stand Up
• Sparring on the Ground
• Throwing & Rolling
